The X1 Omni robot vacuum is the most expensive item in our review. However, it has some unique features which make it worth looking into. The X1 Omni is most notable for its massive dock that doubles as an charging base for the robot, a sink for cleaning and two 4-liter water tanks. It also houses two bins: a 2.5-liter dustbin and a 2.5 dust bin that is 2.5 liters.

The base has a couple of buttons for control that allow you to manually start cleaning tasks and then recall the robot or run the dock's automatic vacuum cleaner and mop emptying procedure. While this was rare but it was a very frustrating experience when it did happen particularly since the X1 Omni does not have a "stuck" status alert on its application.

The X1 Omni isn't able to automatically switch from mopping to vacuuming mode during the cleaning process. You'll need to manually switch between the two, which isn't a big deal aside from the fact that mopping pads aren't cleaned and dried between use and can cause mildew or mold.

The X1 Omni looks great, thanks to the Jacob Jensen design team (of Bang & Olufsen fame), who created its sleek, modern base and mopping pad. It's a big difference from the utilitarian black bases of rivals like Roborock or iRobot. It's also a welcome sight for the market that is dominated by boxy models.
