The most expensive models can even mop your automatic floor cleaner however they're not able to climb up the stairs. Choose models that have intelligent mapping, real-time hazard avoidance, and spacious self-emptying bins.

It also has a smart mapping system and can be programmed to only run for certain hours (a useful feature for keeping pets and children who are prone to mischief from running wild). The Shark is less powerful than other mop/robot combinations however it still picks hair and pet hair extremely well. It's also the highest rated robot vacuum price of our top picks.

Best for Hard Flooring

When it comes to mop pads, the Eufy S1 Pro is designed to actually wash hardwood floors using downward pressure rather than wipe them clean to remove dirt and dust. The mop pads that are reusable reduce the amount of waste, and spread germs less, and can be cleaned in the docking station, saving you time. The mop pads can also be washed, dried and reused.
