You can also customize the settings for each room and create cleaning schedules.

It has the same multi-room smart mapping that is found in the S8 and can differentiate between laminate and carpets, with high-pile carpets. It can also avoid cleaning rooms that aren't dirty if you're looking to reduce time. If you have a wide range of flooring in your home and don't want to spend more money on a Roborock that has advanced mapping capabilities it is a great choice.

7. Q5 Pro

This robot is a great option when you're looking for a robot that can handle regular maintenance on a daily basis and touch-ups to wet messes. It has a wide range of features including a self-emptying dustbin as well as the water refill dock, and adjustable settings in the app. It is surprisingly quiet and can easily maneuver around furniture legs or socks. It's not able to pick up tangled rug tassels up and it drains its battery faster than other models we tried.

It's smaller than many of its competitors, but doesn't sacrifice any features. It has decent suction power and can be configured to take pictures of every object it finds (i.e. chew toys, socks), and mark them in the app as 'not found' to ensure that they won't be taken up in subsequent cleanings. The photos are secure and are not connected to your account.

It does a fantastic job of vaccuming, however it isn't as good at mopping. It uses disposable wet wipes that you clip to the bottom of the bot, and then it drags them around the floor. Compare this to the Roborock S8 MaxV Ultra and Narwhal models, which have water reservoirs that can automatically wash and reattach their mopheads.
