Robots That Vacuum and Mop

Robots that vacuum and mop offer the convenience of removing dry debris (dust, dirt) and wet mess (spills and stains) in one session without the need to change devices. They can also save space when compared to two separate units, particularly in smaller living spaces.

A good combination bot should have impressive navigation and obstacles avoidance. Look for models with docks that allow them to automatically empty their bins, refill their water tanks and machine-wash the mopping pads.

1. Eufy S1 Pro

It has plenty to offer at a affordable price and is among the easiest robots we've tested to install. Unpacking is easy and the quick-start manual will have you up and running in no time with the complete dust bag, water tank, and a hard floor solution.

The S1 Pro is a powerful small machine that can mops up a storm and also vacuums well. The docking station comes with a handy LCD screen that indicates the time when maintenance is required, such as emptying debris and cleaning the water tank that is dirty. It can also mix detergent automatically into the water tank by using a 600ml bottle filled with the eufy's solution.

Both the S1 Pro mop and vacuum have a long run time. The mop can operate for 184 mins in Quiet Mode, and the vacuum can last for 136 minutes in normal mode, before needing to recharge or returning back to the base. You can also view the complete cleaning details within the app, which is clearly laid out and is easy to comprehend, though we would like to be able distinguish between a mop only vacuum and mop clean, when looking at a cleaned area in the history of cleaning.

2. Roborock S8 Pro Ultra

The Roborock S8 Pro Ultra, the most recent version of Roborock's most popular robot vacuum and mop, is the most recent version. Unlike last year's model, this one features a double agitator in its mopping pad which greatly improves carpet cleaning abilities. However, the S8 Pro Ultra takes things an extra step by incorporating a dual camera that can recognize objects and determine whether they are a wall or another type of surface. It can then change its course in a way that is automatic vacuum and mop and clean around them, without missing a step.

It's the most expensive of the three models I've examined, however, it's also the most loaded with features. Its sleek and angular design is striking and only has three buttons that are physically accessible. It also includes maps and advanced mopping options. The app allows you to plan cleanings and monitor the battery's lifespan. You'll need to go through a few steps to enable voice control on this model. This is a shame considering how efficient it is otherwise.

3. Dreame X40

The Dreame X40 is an industry-leading robot vacuum and mop equipped with incredible suction power, sophisticated mowing capabilities, and ingenuity features. Its clever design permits customised and efficient cleaning while saving you time.

The X40 is the first robot vacuum cleaner that can deliver 12,000 Pascals of cleaning power, which easily makes it one of the best robot vacuum alternatives available. The X40 will also keep track of its progress, and alert you when it's finished.

The X40 is easy to clean and has numerous features that make it a great choice for busy families. The docking station will automatically empty the dustbin, and clean mop pads before refilling them with fresh cleaning solution and water. It also can detect the moment when the mop pad is at its capacity to the max and alert you to the situation prior to it bursting.

4. L20 Ultra

The L20 Ultra robot is one of the most expensive models available. However, it has several features that make it stand out. Smart DuoScrub, which is a new feature of its mops, uses two mop heads with high-speed motors to scrub floors more thoroughly. It also has a maximum suction force of 7,000Pa. This is higher than Roborock S8 Pro Ultra and Ecovacs Deebots T20 Omni. It can also vacuum up pet hair, small dirt particles and pick up spills and dirt-stained spots.

The mop mops are cleaned and dried in the base station every time they are used. This is a great feature because it stops mould and unpleasant odours from accumulating in the storage. It also makes the mop system more efficient. It's a system that has yet to be seen on other robot vacuum and mop models and could be a useful method of keeping your home hygienic for longer.

There's a plethora of options available which include the ability to schedule cleaning and adjust a variety of preferences. These can be set via the app, or via buttons on the device itself. It is a little heavier at 4kg than the other robots listed on this list, but it's still not too heavy. It feels solid and well-constructed.
