What is Pragmatism?

People who are pragmatic choose actions and solutions that are likely to work in the real world. They don't get bogged down by idealistic theories that might not be practical in the real world.

This article examines three principles of pragmatic inquiry and details two project examples on the organizational processes of non-governmental organizations. It suggests that pragmatic approach to research is a useful method to study these dynamic processes.
