It also features an automatic vacuum and mop mop lifting system which will lift the pad when it transitions from tile to laminate, hardwood to carpets and rugs to prevent getting soaked by these soft surfaces.

The S8 Pro Ultra also has self-washing, and self-drying features. The pad can be rinsing and then drying within the dock. The dust bin will automatically empty and return to the dock. This means that you can put it away and forget about it, only having to clean the dust bag and refill the water tank on occasion.

All of this is powered by a lithium-ion battery of 5,200mAh. The S8 Pro Ultra ran on its usual mop- and vac-settings for approximately 160 minutes before it began to lose power and returned to its base to recharge. This is not far off of the 180 minutes that Roborock claims and is in line with other hybrids I've test.

It's a well-rounded, capable product. The only issue is that it's expensive. The sheer amount of features makes it an appealing choice for anyone who is looking to replace their old stick vacuums and mops. We highly recommend this model if you can justify the cost.

2. Dreametech L10S Ultra

The Dreametech L10S Ultra robot vacuum and mop is an expensive combination. The premium price is justified by the robust features, such as a huge vacuuming capability and two gyrating mop heads. It also comes with an app-based, smart controller and a mighty obstacle avoidance technology.

The L10S Ultra is one of the most expensive robotic vacuums and mop combos available at a recommended retail price of 999 euros. In my tests, it did well across all areas of the home, removing 98.4 percent of the debris on all types of floors and able to lift long hair without knots. The mops also performed well and produced excellent results for cleaning with less effort than mid-range models. This was due to their rotational movement as well as an effective dose of cleaning solution.

However, the L10S Ultra's most significant selling point is its innovative multifunctional docking station. The docking station emptys the dustbin into a bag for dirt, refills the water tank to use for mopping, and even dry mop pads. It has a real-time hazards detection system, and its intelligent controls allow you to schedule periodic cleaning sessions.

In contrast to the other hybrid vacuum mops I tested The L10S Ultra doesn't offer advanced dirt pickup on carpets. Additionally it's not as capable at scrubbing away stubborn stains as those found in the top Roborock S7 MaxV Ultra.

Despite the L10S Ultra’s high-end features, it still requires regular maintenance. It's important to remember that even the L10S Ultra is the best robotic vacuum and mop combination you can purchase however, its price and ongoing maintenance will eventually make it more of a desire than a need.

3. Eufy S1 Pro

If you're looking for a robot mop and vacuum that will pick up dirt and dust on your hard floors while taking care of wet messes then look no further than the Eufy S1 Pro. This high-powered mop and robot vacuum combo comes with a strong 8,000 Pa of suction power, an impressively large battery capacity for both vacuuming and mowing, and top-notch obstacle avoidance. It comes with a roller-mop that cleans itself and makes it stand out from other models which require you to return to the base station to wash off the mop pad.

The S1 Pro has a unique mopping system that is a departure from the spinning discs and microfibre pads found in other robots. The roller is nearly the entire length of the robot and it receives a constant supply of clean water that is filtered and ozonated from the dock. As it rotates the roller, it scrubs your floors while soaking up dirt, and any dry debris is removed by the side brushes or swept into the front colision bumper. The S1 Pro dumps dirty mop water in its base station where it is sucked by the tank's heater elements, and then emptied into a larger storage container. The tank onboard can hold a substantial amount of water and handle up to half a dozen mopping sessions before being emptied out.

The S1 Pro comes ready to use right out of the box as do most robotic vacuums and mops. It will need to be filled with clean water, but this is easy to do by cleaning the dock. If you'd like to make use of your own cleaner you can include a cleaning solution to the dock. If you decide to use this feature, however, you will be required to purchase the Eufy brand cleaning solution, which is more costly than other robot brands allowing you to use your choice of cleaning solutions.

Like most robots, the S1 Pro did well in the area of coverage and navigation efficiency. It was quick to map out a space and navigated around furniture. The only problem is that it got stuck a couple of times on carpets with longer piles and rugs during my testing however this could be improved as the software is updated. The S1 Pro is a very powerful robot cleaner with mop that can be bought at affordable prices.

4. Roborock Qrevo

The Qrevo is Roborock’s entry-level vacuum and mop but it does have some impressive features. Its multifunction dock empties the robot's dirtbag and replenishes its water tanks, as well as washing and sanitizing the mop pads as it goes. The mopping system can sweep a large area before returning to its dock. The vacuum's extreme suction is perfect for picking up pet hair and other debris from carpets.

The software that runs the appliance is quite dense, with a wide variety of options to personalize the cleaning process. You can manually initiate the full map and then clean of everything mapped by the device, or you can pick individual rooms, expandable zones or even a schedule you've created. The Reactive Tech hazard avoidance system works fairly well, too however it's not as advanced as the color camera system on the Qrevo Master or the S8 Pro Ultra. It can detect dangers such as carpets with thick padding, but may not be able detect smaller objects such as rug tassels and electrical wires.

The machine has a major flaw: it does not have a mop option after vacuuming. This could be a problem for those who vacuum frequently prior to using their robot. Fortunately, there's a simple workaround: the app includes the option to "clean up" at the end of every vacuuming session. You can use the vacuum's mopping functions to remove the last traces and dust that are left behind after vacuuming. This is a great feature that lets this vacuum to clean up a bit better than its less expensive competitors.
