Guild Wars 2 Item Upgrade

Item upgrade, commonly called "upping," improves an item's stats. Each upgrade increment increases a stat linearly.

Players can recycle six items at a time to get a gauge of each item's upgraded component. The cost of recycling a piece of equipment increases depending on their rarity and level.

Upgrade components

In Guild Wars 2, an item upgrade is a way to increase the stats of your weapon and armor. This can be done through various methods, including using upgrade components as well as upgrading an item's mark levels or rarity. A lot of items can be reforged to boost their stats.

Upgradeable items can be found throughout the game, both within the world and as rewards for missions. Players can also craft them.
