Best Robotic Mop and Vacuum Combos

Most robot vacuum-mop combos can be customised using an application that allows you to save your home's maps setting cleaning schedules, and select mopping options. They also allow you to alter suction power and fine-tune the amount of water and scrub action your mop makes use of.

A mapping feature helps your robot vacuum cleaners best navigate through rooms while an obstacle avoidance function will stop it from hitting wires, furniture or other pet toys. These are must-have features in my house, filled with toys that are scattered about.

1. Roborock S8 Pro Ultra

Roborock S8 Pro Ultra, the top-of-the-line vacuum and mop, is loaded with features. It can sweep and mop simultaneously, and even lift its mop pads or brushes so that soft surfaces don't get wet. It also can avoid obstacles by spotting pets, plants, and other small objects.

The robot vacuum has a suction power of 6,000 pascals, which is more than any other robot vacuum we've tested up to now. It is also equipped with PreciSense LiDAR Navigation to track its location, preventing it becoming stuck on objects.

The mopping function is impressive and features the S8 Pro Ultra able to apply constant pressure of over 6 Newtons to the mop pad to provide an intense clean. It also comes with mop lifter technology that lifts the pad automatically when it changes between tile and laminate or hardwood flooring, as well as carpet or rugs, in order to avoid soaking soft surfaces.

The S8 Pro Ultra also has self-washing and self-drying capabilities. The pad can be cleaned and dried in the dock and the dust container will get emptied and automatically returned to it. You can set it and forget about it. You will only need to refill the water tank or replace the dust bag on occasion.

All of this is powered by a lithium-ion 5,200mAh battery. I ran it on its normal mop and vac settings for around 160 minutes before the S8 Pro Ultra started to be power-deficient and then return to its base for a recharge. This isn't that far from the 180 minutes Roborock claims, and is on par other hybrids I've tested.

It's a comprehensive, reliable product. The only issue is that it's expensive. The sheer amount of features make it a very attractive option for anyone looking to replace their old stick vacuums and mops. We highly recommend this vacuum when you can justify its cost.

2. Dreametech L10S Ultra

The Dreametech L10S Ultra is a high-end mop and robot vacuum. Its high-end price is justified by its powerful features, which include the capacity to vacuum large volumes and two gyrating mops. It comes with an app-enabled smart control system and powerful obstacle-avoidance technology.

The L10S Ultra has a retail price of 999 euros, which is among the most expensive robotic vacuum and mop combinations available. In my testing it was able to perform well in all areas of the house, removing 98.4 percent of debris from all floors and managing to lift long hair with no knots. The mops also performed well with excellent cleaning results with less effort than mid-range models. This was thanks to their rotational movement and the powerful cleaning solution.

The L10S Ultra's most significant selling point is its innovative multi-functional docking station. The dock empties its dustbin into a dirt bag, refills its water tank for the mopping function and even dry its mop pads for you. It features a real-time risk detection system, and its intelligent controls let you schedule periodic cleaning sessions.

The L10S Ultra does not offer superior carpet debris removal performance in comparison to the other hybrid automatic vacuum cleaner and mop mops I tested. The mops in the L10S Ultra aren't as effective at removing stubborn staining as the Roborock S7 MaxV Ultra.

In spite of the L10S Ultra's many high-end features, it still requires regular maintenance and care. To prevent the growth of mildew or unpleasant odors, the base unit dustbag, water and tanks must be cleaned, emptied and dried regularly. It is also important to note that the mop pads that are bought separately, must be replaced regularly too.

Given the L10S Ultra's premium pricing and its extensive features I would highly recommend it to anyone who has the budget for it. If you're looking to save money I would suggest a less basic model that allows you to save money while still being able to enjoy hands-free cleaning in your home. It's important to note that even the L10S Ultra is the best robot vacuum that mops mop and robotic vacuum you can purchase, its high purchase cost and constant maintenance will ultimately make it more of a wish than a necessity.

3. Eufy S1 Pro

Eufy S1 Pro is the robot vacuum and mop you require to get rid of messes and clean dirt off your hard floors. This powerful robovac/mop set-up has a powerful suction capacity of 8,000 Pa. It also has an enormous battery capacity that can be used for both vacuuming as well as mowing. And it is equipped with an excellent obstacle-avoidance system. It comes with a roller-mop that cleans by itself, making it stand out from models which require you to return to the base station to wash off the mop pad.

The S1 Pro uses a unique mopping system that is a big departure from the microfibre pads and spinning discs used in other robots. The roller is almost the entire length of the robot and it gets a constant supply of fresh Ozonated, filtered water from the dock. While it spins the roller, it scrubs your floors while soaking up dirt, and any dry debris is picked up by the side brushes or swept away into the front colision bumper. The S1 Pro then discharges the mop water that is dirty into its base station which is then sucked up by the tank's heating elements before being then pumped into a larger storage bin. The tank onboard can hold a substantial amount of water, and can handle up to a half dozen mopping sessions before being emptied out.

The S1 Pro comes ready to use right out of the box as do other robotic vacuums/mops. It will need to be filled with clean water, but this is simple to do within the cleaning dock. You can also add cleaning solution to the dock, in case you want to have the option of using your own cleaner. If you choose this feature however, you'll have to purchase the Eufy-branded cleaning solution that is more expensive than other robot brands, allowing users to select their own choice of cleaning solutions.

The S1 Pro performed well in the navigation efficiency and coverage tests, as did most robots. It was quick to map the space and was able to navigate around furniture. The only issue is that it was stuck a couple of times on larger pile carpets and rugs in my tests however this can be fixed as the software is updated. The S1 Pro is an all-in-one robot that provides a lot of functionality at affordable prices.

4. Roborock Qrevo

The Qrevo is Roborock's entry level mop and vacuum, but it still has several impressive features. The dock's multifunction allows emptying the robot's dirtbag, refilling its water tanks and cleaning and sanitizing the mop pads is performed by the dock. The mopping system can sweep a large area before returning to its dock. The vacuum's extreme suction is perfect for picking up pet hair and other debris from carpets.

The software that runs this appliance is dense, with a wide choice of options for customizing the cleaning process. You can choose to manually start a full map and clean of everything mapped by the device, or you can choose individual rooms, expandable zones, or even a routine you've created. SmartPlan is one of the mopping options. It makes use of the sensors on the mops to map out the space and determine the most efficient way to clean it.

Like the other Roborock models we've examined The Qrevo does well in our tests. Its navigation system performs well, mapping rooms quickly and cleaning them in a well-organized way. The default pathing setting does a great job of covering a room, leaving no gaps or missing areas. The Reactive Tech hazard avoidance system works fairly well, too however it's not as sophisticated as the color camera system on the Qrevo Master or the S8 Pro Ultra. It can spot dangers like thick carpets however it won't always detect small things like rug tassels or electrical wires.

This machine has one major problem: it doesn't offer a mop after vacuuming. This could be a problem for those who vacuum frequently prior to using their robot. Thankfully, there's an easy alternative: the app has an option to "clean up" at the end of each vacuuming session. The mopping features of the vacuum to get rid of the dust and dirt that were left behind after vacuuming. This is a great feature that lets this vacuum clean a little better than its competitors with lower prices.
