Researchers have investigated whether the perception of time changes with age, and if so, how, and why we perceive the passage of time differently. The researchers say they can better understand the state of the cosmos shortly after the Big Bang by learning how these ripples in the fabric of the universe flow through planets and the gas between the galaxies. A concept called 'quantum entanglement' suggests the fabric of the universe is more interconnected than we think and also suggests we have the wrong idea about reality. This past December, the physics Nobel Prize was awarded for the experimental confirmation of a quantum phenomenon known for more than 80 years: entanglement. In 2022, the physics Nobel prize was awarded for experimental work showing that the quantum world must break some of our fundamental intuitions about how the Universe works.
