WoW Upgrades - The Item Upgrader

Upgrades give a guaranteed boost to specific stats. Each upgrade increases the level of an item upgrading by 3. Each upgrade also increases an unspecified substat.

Upgraded gear is generally more valuable, unless the item has low requirements by nature (like FB sorc shields) or has a high variance in stats (like Eth Titan weapons). Upgrades are not as useful for those with lower requirements because of the requirement to roll the perfect version.

Recycle Points

The item upgrader allows players to upgrade their gear to a higher item level by providing the appropriate currency to the NPC. Upgrades can be applied to any type of weapon or armor. However, the item level upgrade that is used for the upgrade items will be consumed forever and cannot be used again. Upgrades can be used to create enchantments.

The upgrader can be found in all major cities and is accessible at any time to upgrade your equipment. It is recommended that you visit the upgrader once every couple of weeks to keep your equipment up-to-date.
