World of Warcraft - Item Upgrading

The upgrade option lets players boost an item's gear rating up 700 points and also add a final bonus. Items can be upgraded if they are in your inventory and you take them to the Kiln.

Certain items are worth upgrading due to their distinctive stats. (For instance, a perfectly roll breakpoint armor is used in melee PvP). Other items such as weapons don't change much after an upgrade and aren't worth the cost.

Weapons

Upgrades to weapons can increase their numerical stats, like attack damage, crit chance and PvE/PvP damage. Weapons also have a flat bonus which increases their damage per second. Additionally, many weapons have an added bonus that is activated when three or more of the same weapon is present on a single unit. This bonus could exceed the damage that an upgrade alone can cause.

The cost of upgrading a weapon's capabilities is contingent on the rarity of the weapon and its current level. For instance the weapon with a +2 rating will require two regular Smithing Stones to upgrade while a +3 requires four. The number of stones needed to upgrade the gun will increase until it needs a higher level of Smithing Stones. At that point, it will reset back to one.

Upgrades to weapons also alter the stats of their base. This is usually a good factor, but it could also have negative effects. For items that are only used in a particular build (Whistant's shield for FB sorcs, for instance), upgrading them may render them useless unless you get a lucky roll.

Upgrades can be made to armor items to boost their stats. For instance, if you have chests or helms, it will boost its defense base while gloves and belts enhance their required strength and dexterity. Armor also has the option of rerolling its Enhanced Defense%, meaning that it could roll back to a lower number.

The upgrade template for a weapon will display the new stats that it will gain when upgraded and their respective values. This means that the weapon will gain an attack damage of 3% if it is upgraded from an 8 attack damage sword to an 11 attack damage sword. The 3% doesn't mean that the weapon will strike 3 times less, as it is an absolute number.

Rerolling a weapon is also possible by pressing the green button within the item menu, using the arrows that circle. The Best item upgrader will be rerolled and alter its stats however, it will not reset the weapon's levels or connect to the status of your account.

Armor

A few upgrades to your armor can make a huge difference in your ability to survive. Certain sets can provide MASSIVE increases in resistance to curses, poisons, fire, and magic. This can make it easier to get through difficult terrains. The more defense your character is, the more value you will get from each point of health you possess and it's crucial to upgrade your armor as often as you can.

You can upgrade your armor by visiting one of the Great Fairy Fountains. There are four of them and each one requires you to complete a unique side-quest involving the Stable Trotters musical troupe. After you've completed the main side quest and completed the fountain that corresponds and then you can contact any Great Fairy to open up the armor upgrading menu.

The amount of materials needed to upgrade each piece of armor is different. In general, you'll need at anything from three to five Red Chuchu jellies and 10 Rupees for the initial upgrade, then anywhere between five Rubies and 10 Fire-Breath Horns for each subsequent upgrade. The Champion Leathers, for instance can be upgraded to a 5 defense rating, which will allow you to stay ahead in frigid conditions with a large number of enemies. The Snowquill Headdress, on the other is able to be upgraded to +20 defense to ensure you're able to survive a battle with friends.

Be aware that armor can't be upgraded the same way as weapons, so you'll have to focus on enhancing it to increase physical strength if you're a Warrior or Spell Power if you're Mage. It's also a good idea to save your armor upgrades for the armor you'll wear at the end of the game, like the Ring of Lightning and Spectral Shield or the helmet you'll wear for the final boss fight as well as the Monter Parts merchant's mask.

Potions

Potion upgrades cost a specific amount of XP, which can be earned by making them on a table or in the chest of the Alchemist. The cost of upgrading varies based on the type of potion used and the item's rarity and Mark Level.

To upgrade a potion to the next level, right-click on it in your inventory and select the "Upgrade" option from the menu. This will open an GUI where you can select the potion you want to upgrade and the amount of XP they will give you when upgraded. You can upgrade potions in batches up to five at a time and their XP will be added to the total XP you currently have.

Once a poton is upgraded in quality, it will not deteriorate until you take it out again or break the bottle in the container it is stored. Clicking on the potion in your inventory will allow you to rename it.

There were a few updates to the mechanics of potions in version 1.7.2. For example splash potions now have a duration of zero,08 seconds (this is not the equivalent of 22.5 seconds displayed on the item upgrade hover display). The potion table is constructed from four Wood Planks, and two Glass. It is now able to be used in both Survival and Bedrock. Bedrock Edition potions are not compatible with cauldrons, as is the case with Java Edition. Similarly, using a potion on a full cauldron drains the contents and refills the bottle.

In addition, there are lingering potions that are brewed using dragon breath and splash potions. Similar to lingering potions, the' effect is extended by adding redstone to it. The table of potions has been rearranged to appear more like the Java Edition. New potions have also been added such as the potion of leaping and decomposition.

Trinkets

A trinket can be described as a small and cheap ornament or piece of jewelry. It can also refer to a small ornament or object that serves a function but is not important, like a trinket. In some cultures, trinkets are used to signify affection or friendship, specifically between family members.

In addition to armor, weapons, and potions, players are able to upgrade their trinkets. These can be upgraded by going to an upgrade vendor and paying the appropriate amount in currency. Unlike other item upgrades, trinkets can be traded out at any time without losing their stats.

Upgrade vendors are located at the capitals of each zone, and sometimes in dungeons. Upgrades for trinkets are purchased with gold, tokens or fragments of a rare trinket.

Upgrading a trinket is an economical alternative to buying an entirely new one. You can upgrade a trinket with as little 12 tokens. The new trinket has the same base level as the old trinket, but will also have an additional bonus of 1% upgrade.

Once the old Trinkets are no longer usable they can be upgraded. This allows players to increase their power and value with time. They can be traded among players and are a viable alternative to gold.

In general players should make upgrades to their top-priority items first. This means that the most-important slot items for each class are first upgraded then their secondary gear, and then other pieces of equipment that will not replace anytime soon (such as rings or cloaks). When deciding which items to upgrade, players should also be aware of the preferred statistics of their class. For example If Haste and Crit are the two most important stats for tanks, they should prioritize upgrading their chest, helm, shoulders, and belt.

After they've become unusable, trinkets can be upgraded to a higher level. The upgraded trinket will give you an additional 1percent bonus. Re-upgrading will destroy the trinket unless it is salvaged with the Black Lion Salvage Kit, or a higher tier salvage tool. Upgrades to trinkets are more expensive than other upgrades but still cheaper than buying new ones.
