br>The November issue of Toy World, the toy trade’s leading B2B publication, is out now; available to read online and landing on desks and doormats this week.
br>This issue features a comprehensive round-up of the latest outdoor toys to be hitting retailers’ shelves up and down the country, plus a look at the Q1 ranges that will be kickstarting toy sales once the festive season is done and dusted – many of which highlight the licences that are proving most popular in the market.
br>Toy World editor Rachael Simpson-Jones also spoke exclusively to Dr Louis Mittoni, CEO and managing director of Toys R Us ANZ – which last year acquired the rights to run digital and physical retail commerce for Toys R Us and Babies R Us in the UK – about the iconic toy retailer’s return to the marketplace and its plans for the future.
br>As Nerf announces its first official sport, Nerfball, Adam Kleinman, SVP & GM Global Brands – Nerf & Sports Action at Hasbro, chats to Toy World about the brand’s success and how it spans much more than just toys. And assistant editor Sam Giltrow speaks to René Rozendal, director of Toys & Entertainment at the online catalogue platform Icecat, about how retailers and brands can benefit from working with the company. Sam also caught up with Curious Universe CEO John Styring, who spoke about how the company has found its feet during the pandemic and about its plans to increase its presence in the toy arena.
br>On top of all this, the November issue of Toy World also features news, views and opinion from Etopia Consultancy’s Asha Bhalsod, Seika Media’s Peadar Drislane and Global Toy Experts’ Richard Gottlieb. Plus, we’ve got this month’s regular columns from The NPD Group, Generation Media and Toy Barnhaus, a look at some Fresh new ranges, and a special feature on the ICTI Ethical Toy Program’s latest Family Friendly Spaces initiative.
