The panel we used was a fan of the dark wood and the dowel sides, and is robust enough to be used until your baby turns toddler. It also conforms to British safety standards. The depth is not enough that your child will be able to get out and the distance between slats should not be more than 65mm. This should stop their heads from getting stuck. It's important to keep in mind that you'll need to purchase a mattress on its own and that's an extra PS88.
