We were capable of testing the EV9 on the local highway for a few hours and found it easy to drive, and comfortable to drive for long distances. The Jacksonville Transit Authority is replacing their older diesel vehicles fleet with 100 electric cars. GreenPower will increase production to meet the demands of the Biden Administration who is planning to electrify all school buses in America. Their EV Star bus is the first of its kind to be Altoona-tested and FMVSS-certified, Buy America compliant and ADA certified. They will be eligible for federal transit grants.
