Throne and Liberty Gear Upgrades

Upgrades can boost the power of a piece of gear and at times even add additional features. The worth of these upgrades is determined by their tiers, requirements, and the number of random augmentations that are applied.

The racial Shield elite Razortail for instance, is usually upgraded to improve its lightning absorption capabilities in PvP and/or add additional defenses to missile-based build in the PvM. This makes it more tradeable over the original version that is not upgraded.

Reroll Tokens

Reroll tokens allow you to reroll a purchased item, such as an armor, weapon, or ring. The item is replaced with another item of the same type, but with different benefits. Reroll tokens can be a cost-effective method to upgrade equipment. They don't maintain the original level of the item and any money wasted won't get compensated.

Reroll tokens can be obtained by survivors through several means, including from the Mistery Box or as rare drops from skulled creatures. They can be found in crates and chests or bought from the market for 150k each. Reroll tokens can be used to change an attribute of the equipment for example, increasing its damage or granting it a brand new stat.

Players can roll equipment in three categories: physical power, spell power, and health. Physical power increases the damage that melee and weapons, while spell power boosts mage attacks and rings. Health upgrades give players additional health.

Three types of rerolls tokens are available: upgrade rare and legendary. Each upgrade elevates an item to a better quality, with the requirement of a higher-quality reroll token order to make it. Upgrades require a regular item. Rare upgrades require items that are either unique or legendary. Legendary upgrades require three legendary pieces.

The marker that rerolls, unlike markers or tokens that are placed on action areas, remains on the space till the next Success is rerolled. This allows you to prevent the waste of upgrades.

Blueprints are envelopes which appear at the start of each Preparation phase. They are opened using Interact by grasping them. Once they are open they will display a complete description and an icon for the corresponding Appliance or Ingredient. Blueprints can be exchanged for a new appliance or ingredient in the restaurant's store for a small amount of coins.

As a result, blueprints can be moved between the Staple Pool (which is the default pool) and the Non-staple Pool when you run. This changes the blueprints that the restaurant's shop has available to reroll, and those that are located in the non-droppable Pool.

Growthstones

In Throne and Liberty, growth stones can be used to upgrade weapons, armor and accessories. These stones are special stones that increase the value of an item by improving its stats or attributes. They can be found by visiting Equipment Enchanting NPCs located in the main towns. Contract Coin Merchants will sell them for a price. They are also available to players who have completed daily contracts.

To upgrade equipment, the player must first locate the item and then click the "level up button". This will show a list of the item's levels and what it will be when it is upgraded. It will also show the amount of Growth Stones required to upgrade the item. The amount of Growth Stones needed to upgrade the item is determined by its rarity. Rare (blue), rarer weapons will require more than one Growth Stone, while uncommon armor only requires one Growth Stone.

After deciding on what to upgrade items, players must select the number of green Growth Stones they wish to use and pay the corresponding cost. When the requirements have been satisfied, the user can then click on the upgrade button to apply the Growth Stones to the item upgrader. This will increase the item's level a certain percentage. The upgrade process can take from a few seconds to several minutes, based on the rarity of the item.

The upgrade process is completely risk-free and does not affect the item's durability. This is an excellent option for players who want to get an edge in combat but don't want strain their wallets. By clicking on the "transfer tab" players can transfer the experience and progression of an upgraded item to the new gear.

The process of obtaining Growth Stones in Throne and Liberty can be daunting for new players. There are a variety of methods to obtain them, including contract completion and purchasing them from the Contract Coin Merchant, defeating Abyssal Contract enemies, obtaining them from the Equipment Stone Seal Book, or obtaining them from the reward chests during the Ancient Arena season. Players can also break down the higher-level Growth Stones into multiple lower-level stones.

Leveling

Leveling is a feature that lets players boost the base stats of weapons, armor, helms, and trinkets. The Upgrade Station allows you to combine an item with upgrade materials and pay a fee in Happy Tickets or Happy Stars. The upgrade components will be consumed and the item will be upgraded to an upgraded level. This process continues until the item is at its highest level.

Items with upgraded stats will have a blue icon beside their slot. In contrast to enchantments, upgrade components don't stack with each other, but can only be added to one item at a time. Each upgrade component also requires an amount of items and a minimum level of equipment.

The Upgrade Station features two slots: the left one is where players can put in a piece of equipment to be upgraded, and the right side shows a glimpse of what the equipment will appear like when it reaches its next level. Once the player has enough items and has pressed the yellow arrow will begin the upgrade process.

An item of equipment can be upgraded up to five times. Each time an item is upgraded, its base stats will increase by a small amount. The maximum level of an item is 19.

When an item is at its maximum capacity, it will no longer have the option to upgrade. Also, when an item is on the level of a specific upgrade track (e.g. Veteran or Explorer) upgrades for that track will come with a discount.

Upgrade components are a form of equipment that can be slotted into weapons, armor trinkets and gathering tools to give an additional bonus or effect while the equipment is in use. They can be bought from vendors, looted or obtained through questing. They can also be traded between players. Upgrade components can be swapped with new ones. However, this will cause the old upgrade to be destroyed.

Requirements

Item upgrades give players the ability to boost certain stats of armor and weapons that they currently have equipped. The requirements for upgrading an item will vary based on the type of item however, generally you'll require Dilithium as well as a few Upgrade Tokens (various options are available).

The upgrade items can be slotted into equipment sets and weapons for extra effects or a higher item level. The upgrades can be acquired from a variety of sources within the game, including through crafting, purchased at the Trading Post or karma vendors or looted from bosses and raids, or collected from dungeons. Once an upgrade component is placed in an item it isn't able to be removed or replaced freely, however, the glyphs used in gathering tools can be swapped without limitation.

The upgrade of an item can boost its Mark Level and/or Rarity. Some upgrade components also have additional modifiers that can increase the stats of the item.

The helm upgrade "Foundation of the Sun" for instance, increases defense base and provides an additional 20% chance to block. The dps "Wildfire", however increases damage to weapons.

Some items are better off being upgraded less because of their improved stats, but more for the fact that it allows players to get the maximum amount of value from a flawless roll on the item. A perfectly rolled 200/6500 armor set piece, for example, is highly valued by the melee PvP communities and could be worth up to 20-50 times that of the unupp'd version.

The game will show you the requirements when you select the upgrade component that is incorporated into the item. The game will display the requirements required when you select an upgrade component to slot into an item.

The game will place an item in your inventory when you have completed the prerequisites for an upgrade. The progress bar will then change to show you how close to getting the upgrade completed. You can also verify the status of an upgrade by visiting any NPC that upgrades items.
