So far we have discussed the reasons why we think it's an excellent idea to consider teaching music online. The types of music that can be taught online and the sorts of simple software and equipment required to achieve this.

My experience has been that if you have a niche, you do not need to attempt to be some incredible panacea-type therapist making claims all over the place. A good thriving business is also based on a solid foundation of credibility in my opinion. Niche and credibility seem to go rather nicely hand-in-hand in my opinion.

A zipped folder of all the forms you need in word, txt and excel formats. These forms work on Mac's or PC's. You can print them as many times as necessary. If you make a mistake, don't white it out, just print a new form.

I can't really think of too many disadvantages. I guess some customers may not like them because if they want to go back to just one section to review it then it's not as easy as with an ebook. You can solve this, in part, by breaking your audio product down into shorter time chunks.

You can research good contractors by either researching online or even asking around you networks. Is there a site of a colleagues that you like? Does it have multimedia running on it? Ask them who they used, and get a reference. Many sites have credits at the bottom of the home or "index" page which may even link you to the producers or developers site. Here you can look around and see if you like what they do. Window shop online and do your homework.

Now don't get me wrong, I am definitely not complaining about either of these systems as they, in themselves are great, but I saw myself getting trapped (or my wife did when she found the credit card statement!) between the actual time spent learning how to set up the business and the fact that there is always something new to learn, so you spend more time etc.
