How to Replace an audi keyless entry G28 Engine Speed Sensor

1. Engine Speed Sensor
The grey wire is situated on the edge of transmission, just above the flywheel ring. This sensor sends signals through the grey wire to pin T55/49. The ECU then utilizes this information to regulate the flow of fuel, timig and boost. It also sends an indicator to the G5 Tachometer within the instrument cluster.
The sensor is used to connect the G40 Camshaft position Sensor. The ecu must know when the crankshaft has reached TDC and also where the camshaft lies so that it can activate the spark and injectors.
If this sensor fails the ECU will display a P00160 code which means the Crank Shaft and Intake Camshaft are out of sync and could indicate the chain stretching or a jump link on the upper chain of timing. The code will not appear without the additional information provided by other sensors (G4 or G40).
Testing can be a bit difficult since there are two connector pins and they serve different purposes but the most effective method to test it is to measure the resistance between the sensor and the ECU. If the sensor is operational, it should be reading around 1000 ohms. Look for signs of coolant or oil in the connector bay if you have problems with this part.
2. Injectors
Yesterday, while accelerating at full speed from the highway paytoll, i experienced massive power loss like the engine is out of gas or the injectors are not firing at all. In the morning, i removed the spark plugs. Three were drenched in gazoline, the fourth one was dry. When i crank the engine without sparks, I put a piece of tissue on the top of each hole in the injector and the 3 that were drenched in gazoline leap out, however the 4th stay shut. I tried to test the ground connections of ECU pins 14,30 and 48/55. I got zero ohm. Therefore, i think the issue is somewhere else.
I also tried to reset the PID without success. The car will start when the G28 is disconnected, but it works fine when the G28 connected. However the intermittent misfire issue still occurs at higher RPM. The temperature sensor for coolant (G62) shows the wrong temperature value of -49c, even if I unplug it. I also noticed that the gauge for oil pressure in the cockpit is showing 2 bar, whereas the actual pressure is 0.0 when i rev the engine.
I'm not sure what to do, as i think i've pretty much eliminated everything else. I'm afraid i may have missed something. If anyone has any ideas please let me know! TIA!
3. Fuel Pump
The fuel pump in the g28 can be activated by a signal sent from the RPM sensor. The GM-style sender is the same as the G4 and both are used in the 80 100, 200, UrS and RS2 cars which is why you can easily locate one at a salvage yard or at a parts store.
