The Singo Edan has completed their quota of eight foreign players for the 2024/2025 season. Pablo Oliveira is the latest foreign player recruited by Arema FC. Persib Bandung began the BRI Liga 1 2024/2025 season with a resounding victory. Against the previous season's Liga 2 champions, PSBS Biak, Maung Bandung clinched a 4-1 victory. The goals for Persib were scored by a brace from David da Silva, and one each from Beckham Putra and Ciro Alves. PSBS Biak managed to pull one back with a goal from Alexsandro Ferreira.
