WoW Upgrades - The Item Upgrader

Upgrades can give you boosts in specific statistics. Each upgrade increases the level of the item by +3. Each upgrade also boosts a random substat.

The upgraded gear is usually more valuable, unless it is not required by nature (like FB sorc shields) or has a large variance in stats (like Eth Titan weapons). Upgrades are not as valuable for those with lower requirements because of the requirement to roll a perfect version.

The item upgrader allows players to upgrade their gear to a higher level by supplying the appropriate currency to the NPC. Upgrades can be applied to any kind of armor or weapon. The upgrader can be found in all major cities and can be accessed at any time to upgrade your gear. To keep your gear current it is recommended that you visit the upgrader every couple of weeks.
