How to Replace an audi Car key cover G28 Engine Speed Sensor

1. Engine Speed Sensor
The grey wire is located on the outside of the transmission, directly above the flywheel ring. The sensor sends signals through the grey wire to pin T55/49. The ECU uses this information to control fuel and boost. It also sends signals to the G5 tachometer in the instrument cluster.
The sensor is used to connect the G40 Camshaft position Sensor. The ecu must be aware when the crankshaft is TDC and the location of the camshaft so it can trigger spark and injectors accordingly.
If this sensor fails, the ECU will show an error code P00160 which indicates that the Crank Shaft and Intake Camshaft are not in sync and could indicate chain stretch or a jumped link on the upper timing chain. The code won't appear without the additional information supplied by other sensors (G4 or G40).
Testing can be a bit difficult since there are two pins for the connector and they perform different functions but the most effective method to test it is by measuring resistance between the sensor and the ECU. It should read around 1000 ohms when the sensor is operating at its maximum. If you're experiencing issues with this sensor, look for signs of coolant or oil in the connector bay.
2. Injectors
Yesterday, while accelerating from the highway paytoll at a high speed I noticed a significant decrease in power. It was like the engine had run out of gas. Or my injectors weren't firing. Today, i pulled out the spark plugs, 3 were drenched in gazoline, the fourth one was dry. When i crank the engine without sparks i put tissue on the top of each of the injector holes and the 3 drenched with gazoline pop out, but the 4th one stays closed. I tested the ground connection of ECU pins 14,30, and 48/55. I found 0ohm. So i assume the problem is in another place.
I also tried to reset the PID with no success. The car will start when the G28 is disconnected, but it is running fine with the G28 plugged in. However, the intermittent misfire problem still occurs at higher RPM. The coolant temperature sensor (G62) shows the wrong temperature of -49c even when i unplug it. Also, i noticed that the oil pressure gauge in the cockpit shows 2 bar, whereas the actual pressure is 0.0 if i crank up the engine.
I'm not certain what to do, as i believe that i've ruled out everything else. However, i'm afraid that I might have missed something. If anyone has any suggestions, please share them! TIA!
3. Fuel Pump
The fuel pump on the g28 is activated by a signal sent from the RPM sensor. The GM-style transmitter is identical to the G4 sender and both work on the 80,100,200, UrS, and RS2 vehicles. It is easy to find a spare in a wrecking shop or a parts store.
