This week I received a parcel from Autelshop.de. Today I will do an unboxing review. The parcel came with an Autel MaxiCOM MK808S & MV108 inspection camera together.

The MV108 digital inspection camera is used for hard to reach places on a car, like not being able to see certain areas under the hood. You can use the MV108 which has a light on the tip. Or I have used it for home plumbing basically just plug it into the USB of the tablet. I will show you in a moment.

Autel MK808S Unboxing

Includes an OBD wire, a mains charger, a 1 year warranty and a cloth to clean the front screen. This is the MK808S tablet guy. On the top is a USB port, an SD card slot and a charging slot. It has a stand on the back so you can prop it up. Now I will show you how it works.

Autel MK808S Feature Overview

The Autel MK808S is said to have an Android 11 system, which means the software looks different. Now it is also bidirectional. The screen looks like this:

On the main screen, you have Diagnostics, Service, Data Manager, Settings, Updates, Maxiviewer, Support, OEM Certification, Remote Desktop, MaxiVideo, Quick Links, Maxitools, and Autel User Center.

Just search for what you need on your tablet. Then tap the Home button. Here you will be taken to the latest Android 11 screen. Tap the fourth button below to close the page. The fifth button is the Chrome browser, which is better and faster. The sixth button is a screenshot. The seventh button allows you to adjust the brightness of the tablet. The eighth button is a quick button to access the diagnostics menu. The last button is a quick button to access the service menu.

The MK808S is definitely faster than the regular MK808 that has been around for years. It has a faster processor and loads very quickly.

Let's go into Diagnostics, as you can see. The screen is sharper and the image is much improved. Icons now look better.

Services include Oil Reset, EPB, TPMS, BMS, Brake Bleed, After Treatment, Immock Key, Injectors, SAS, Suspension, Throttle, WIN DR Roof, Seats, Odometer, Language Change, Headlamp, CHG Tire Size, TEC Learn, ABS/SRS, Cylinder, VGT Learn, Speed ​​& PTO, Clutch, Trans Adaptation, Airbag Reset, A/F Settings, Auto Start/Stop, Electronic Water Pump Start, EGR, VIN, FRM Reset, Transport Mode, HV Battery, ACC, A/C, Rain/Light Sensor, Reset Control Unit, CCS/ACC.

Data Manager allows you to review or modify vehicle history, workshop info, customers, images, reports, PDFs, review data, data logging, app uninstall. Here you can enter business info and email receipts.

In Settings, you can check the unit, language, print settings, report settings, push notifications, firmware upgrade, auto update, vehicle list, system settings, etc.

In Updates, you can download car software if you want.

In Maxi View, you can actually see what year and model your car was worked on. It shows the features supported by a particular model.

Autel MV108 Unboxing and Testing

Next, we will show you the Maxi Video now. This is the MV108 Digital Inspection Camera. There are two in the box, you just plug them into the port and lock them. When you connect the USB cable to the MK808S, the light will turn on.

When you tap "Maxivideo", it will literally show you a video of what's in the box. This is what it looks like up close. You can see it pretty clearly when you get close to what you're putting in your bag. And you can take pictures and save them. To remove, unplug the USB cable from the top.

Basically, this is the Autel MK808S. It works really well. This is a big upgrade from the previous MK808 to now. The screen looks clearer. It's just better overall. The MK808Z includes the newly added features BMW 4.0 software and better coverage.
