Bojan Hodak is a Croatian football coach currently managing Persib Bandung. He was born on May 4, 1971, in Zagreb, Yugoslavia (now Croatia). With extensive experience in various leagues, particularly in Southeast Asia, Hodak brings a distinctive coaching style and an impressive track record. Before taking charge of Persib and leading Maung Bandung to the Liga 1 title in the 2023/2024 season, Hodak gained experience with various clubs, including Kelantan FC, Johor Darul Ta'zim, PSM Makassar, and Kuala Lumpur City. He also served as the coach of the Malaysia U-19 national team. Hodak is known for his disciplined approach and clear playing philosophy. He often employs a 4-4-2 formation and emphasizes the importance of good game organization. Persib Bandung has officially introduced their squad for the BRI Liga 1 2024/2025 season. A total of 30 players were unveiled at the Pesta Rakyat Persib event held at GOR C-Tra Arena, Bandung, on Sunday, August 4, 2024. At the team launch event, five new players were introduced to the Bobotoh fans. They are Mateo Kocijan, Dimas Drajad, Adam Alis, Gustavo Franca, and Mailson Lima. This season, besides competing in BRI Liga 1, Persib will also participate in the AFC Champions League 2, following their BRI Liga 1 championship win last season. Along with presenting the complete squad for the 2024/2025 season, Persib Bandung also released the players' jersey numbers and the new team jerseys. PT Liga Indonesia Baru (LIB) has sent the provisional schedule for Liga 1 2024/2025 to each club. Persib Bandung will kick off the competition. As the defending champions, Persib will host Liga 2 champions PSBS Biak on August 9, 2024, at Stadion Si Jalak Harupat (SJH), Soreang, Bandung Regency. Persib will return to SJH for the second week of Liga 1, where they will face Dewa United on August 19, 2024. Dewa United will have to be the traveling team for Liga 1 next season due to the Indomilk Arena in Tangerang being under renovation by the government. On September 23, 2024, Persib will have a big match against Persija Jakarta in the sixth week, to be played at SJH. Junior Brandao, who was a top scorer contender last season, contributed 16 goals and four assists in 30 matches after joining from Madura United in mid-2023/24. For the upcoming Liga 2 season, Bhayangkara FC will not have Radja Nainggolan, as his contract was not renewed.
