Best 3 Wheel Pushchairs

All-terrain pushchair that offers lightweight durability and great maneuverability. Its one-hand fold is compact, which means it's easy to transport and is freestanding when folded. The cushioned seat reclines to a nearly flat position, and there's an enormous storage bin and canopy. Baby suitability: Yes and with a separate carrycot (not suitable for sleeping overnight).

Air-filled tyres and good suspension can handle rough terrain. You can also use it for jogging. But, you should wait until your baby is at least 6 or 9 months old.

This 3 wheeler pushchair from Ickle Bubba is a brilliant choice for parents who want lightweight strollers with added features. It comes as an all-in-one travel system that includes a lie-flat carrycot designed for infants, a multi-position forward and rear-facing pushchair seat as well as a choice of a group 0+ car seats, so you can get everything you need in one place.

The XL Air is a really impressive car, and it's easy to see why it has received so many high marks from its customers. It's extremely light-weight - the wheels and chassis weigh only 6.5kg. It's also very easy to assemble. In fact I was able complete the entire setup and running in less than five minutes, which is amazing given that it included attaching the fabric for the carrycot!

It has a lovely wide seat that was comfortable for Annie (who is 12 months) and the recline lever is simple to use. There's plenty of space in the basket too and I am awestruck by the fact that it has an open-top pocket on the handle bar so you can keep your keys and phone safe!

The only downside is the handlebar is low, which can be an issue for taller parents. However, it's coated with a luxurious leather-like material that's soft and comfy and wipes down easily, so it's still a breeze to push with bags and children on your hands!

The Runner is designed for athletic parents who are eager to go outside and explore. The large pneumatic wheels are designed to be used on forest and field paths and the front 3 wheel bassinet stroller can be swivelled and locked for extra versatility. The stroller comes with 5-point safety harness with a front bar that keeps your child safe on every trip. The parking brake will keep the stroller on its feet as you take a break. The seat can be repositioned to a laying position and the canopy can be opened maximum air circulation on hot days. The handle can be adjusted by more than 30cm to fit mum or dad.

The Runner will accompany you on any adventure whether it's a leisurely walk, a longer hike or a long distance trek. It has a fully-flat lay-flat seat that has suspension air wheels for smooth and comfortable riding. The front 3 wheel pushchairs can be locked for greater stability on narrow streets or overcrowded sidewalks. The stroller is also able to fold up to fit in car boot spaces and storage areas.

Some parents have found the Runner 2 to be a bit harder to navigate than its predecessor and the locking mechanism is less user-friendly (requiring two buttons on either side of the push bar). It's their newest and most expensive addition to the stroller line that is a bargain and lightweight. Similar to the Ickle Bubba Aurora or Yoyo it's car seat compatible so it can be used from birth.

The new Pace boasts some fantastic design touches such as the rose gold tint of the hood, chassis and stroller trims that really set it apart from its competition. The grey, tan and cream fabrics used in the stroller as well as the car seat are super fashionable and there's an option to add the handle for the cover and bumper bar too.

The stroller seat is used from birth to a maximum weight of 22kg. It converts easily into a reversible 2-in-1 position, either facing the parent or world-facing. The stroller seat comes with multiple lie-back positions, softly padded leg rests and comes with an extended sun canopy that has concealed zip sections, a viewing transparent flaps, and a retractable sun visor section.

When folded, the Pace measures 56 x 43cm x 32cm, which makes it suitable for hand luggage on Easyjet and Ryanair. Two buttons on each side are easy to utilize and press into place.

The fabric of the seat is machine washable, and the frame and faux leather grips are easy to clean. It's also quieter than other pushchairs and I felt at ease using it in busy city streets. One of the advantages is that it incorporates accessory points, which means you can add footmuffs parasols, changing bags, and even a snack tray. The hood can be used to block the elements of wind and rain, but it's not waterproof. The single pram can be fitted with the Comfort Wheeled board (not included) which allows your child more legroom. The bassinet took about 20 minutes to set up and the same amount of time to transform it into an actual seat.
