Lamborghini Enters the World of Non-Fungible Tokens (NFTs)

After a string of social media posts hints at it, Italian supercar maker Lamborghini finally revealed its NFT (non fungible token) Project. Space Key was developed in collaboration with an unidentified artist and based upon advanced carbon fiber composite materials that were sent to the International Space Station as research material, is a project which was announced by Lamborghini.

Lamborghini, the Italian supercar manufacturer is making its first step towards the world of non-fungible tokens (NFTs). The new project - called the Space Key - is a piece of art made in collaboration with a lone artist. The NFT is a unique piece of digital art that is accessable via an QR code. The project is limited to five pieces and will be auctioned off in the coming weeks.

The Space petron Key to lamborghini (dencker-barnett.hubstack.net) is made of carbon composite material that Lamborghini, in the course of a research project in the year 2019 and sent to the International Space Station. The carbon fiber was transformed into a unique art work after it returned to Earth. The physical component has an NFT serial code that links to the digital artwork through a QR code located on the back.

The carbon fiber has been 3D printed to form the basis of each Space Key, which is connected to an exclusive, entirely digital artwork through the QR code that is on the back of the key. Only five Space Keys were produced.
