Easy to install

The first step is to remove the old cover from your key. The original cover needs to be removed before the replacement is able to be installed.

Once you have removed the old cover Use a flathead screwdriver to pull out the four major attachment clips on the side that is on the passenger side of the fob assembly. These are marked with red in the image below. Also note the locating tab slots, which are yellow, that must be removed as well.

After removing the battery, replace it with a new CR2032 3 volt coin cell battery. The "+" side of the battery should be facing the opening on the fob and the "side that is "-" side should be facing the buttons made of rubber.

Re-attach the passenger side mirror cover by aligning the locating tabs. After you've done this, place the fob on the driver's side in your vehicle and test it by pressing the button on the front of the car key. If everything is working properly, the parking lights should be on and the doors should automatically close.
