3 wheeler buggies - how you can help -

A three wheel pushchairs-wheeled buggy is perfect for off-roading and provides an easy ride for babies. They are also simpler to push and maneuver than a four wheel buggy and are especially suitable for those with fabric slings or seat units, which are placed in a tight position within the frame and provide the most efficient geometry and distribution of weight.

Stability

A three-wheel buggy has excellent stability, which is why it's a good option for off-road walking (especially with an all-terrain or off-road-style seat). This results in a lower centre of gravity, with a perfect weight distribution. This makes it easier and lighter to push, especially when you're on bumpy terrain or curbs. MFM reviewer Kath was impressed with the way this type of seat handled these obstacles.

In addition to a large shopping basket, this kind of buggy usually has quite useful features, such as an extendable 50+ UV hood, a simple brake pedal, and a few bright, game-changing lights that come up from the handlebar and can be placed directly in front of the occupants to improve their safety when they are tackling difficult terrain.

Tyres

These tyres are sometimes tricky to keep inflated and must be topped up frequently. They are also more prone to punctures than foam tyres. So it is essential that you have repair kits with spare tubes and a pump in case you go you're out and about in your buggy.

PU tyres can be seen on more pushchairs than air-filled tyres, but they are still just as durable. PU tyres are easily identified by their matte finish and supple feel. They also glide well on even and tied surfaces.

If you move your hand over the tyres, then you can tell if they're rubber or PU. If it feels as if it's moving, then it's a rubber or PU.
