The Roomba i7+ can keep up to 10 floor plans and their names with Imprint Smart Mapping, a system that lets it create maps of rooms so that it can clean them more efficiently. It also integrates with iRobot Home to schedule cleaning tasks, and you can control your robot through the app or via voice.

The i7+ is faster and more maneuverable in our tests compared to the eufy RoboVac G30. It also picked up large pet hair pieces from any surface including carpeting. The biggest benefit over the eufy the dust bin is self-emptying that removes a major source of maintenance and lowers recurring costs.

We were also amazed by the i7+'s compatibility with Amazon Alexa and Google Assistant AI services, which we used to instruct the robot to start, stop or pause its cleaning routines and move around the room, and even vacuum a specific space. The iRobot Home App made it easy to connect the i7+ with these services. After being connected, to voice commands to the i7+, such as "Hey Alexa vacuum the master bedroom." The iRobot Home App also offers options to manage i7+ settings and evaluating the performance.

3. Dyson Cyclone V10

This tiny Dyson model is an athletic car that is amidst a sea of cordless vacuums that feel like minivans and buses. It's powerful and has features to replace a stand-up vacuum for many households however, it can also fit perfectly next to the coffee table or shelves where you can move it around like the magic wand.

The V10 is powered by seven cells of energy-dense Lithium-ion batteries, which produces power without fading for 60 minutes. Its advanced whole-machine filter system traps allergens and releases cleaner air back into your home. It's capable of sucking up all types of debris and sizes during our tests, and frequently goes over the same areas many times to ensure a thorough clean. In our tests, the Jet Bot AI+ performed well on hard floors, and it removed 86% of dog hair (on carpet). It was not as successful in avoiding taller items such as socks or cords. This was disappointing. It's also a bit more expensive than the other models we tried which could be a problem for certain shoppers.
