WoW Upgrades - The Item Upgrader

Upgrades will give you a boosts in certain stats. Each upgrade increases item level by +3. A random substat is also increased with every upgrade.

Upgraded gear is generally more useful, unless the item is not required by nature (like FB sorc shields) or has a large variance in stats (like eth Titan weapons). These types of gear get less value from upgrading due to the necessity to roll to get a perfect version.

Recycle Points

The item upgrader lets players upgrade their gear by transferring the currency to an NPC. Upgrades can be applied to any type of weapon or armor. However, the item upgrader mod that is used to upgrade will be consumed forever and cannot be used again. Upgrades can also be used to create enchantments.

The upgrader can be found in all major cities and can be accessed at any time to upgrade your gear. To ensure that your equipment is up-to-date, it is recommended that you visit the upgrader each few weeks.

Valorstones

The cost of upgrades varies based on the slot of the item and the current level of the item, with weapons costing more than gloves or bracers for instance.
