Throne and Liberty Gear Upgrades

Upgrades to gear increase its stats base and often increases its other features. The value of these upgrades is determined by their tiers, requirements, and the amount of random enhancements used.

For example, the elite shield for racial discrimination Razortail is often upgraded to enhance its lightning absorb ability in PvP, or to add additional defenses on missile based designs in PvM. This makes it more tradeable than the perfect non-upgraded version.

Reroll Tokens

Reroll tokens allow you to roll a purchased item such as armor, weapon, or ring. This allows you to swap the item level upgrade for another similar one with a different set of extra bonuses. Reroll tokens are an affordable way to upgrade gear. They don't keep the original equipment's condition and any money wasted won't get compensated.

The survivors can get Reroll tokens in a variety of ways, including through the Mistery Box and rare drops from skulled creatures. They can be found in chests and crates or purchased from the store for 150k each. Reroll tokens are used to alter the attributes of an item of equipment for example, increasing the damage it can cause.

Players can roll their equipment into three aspects: physical power, magic power, and health. Physical power increases the damage caused by melee and weapons and spell power improves mage attacks and rings. Health upgrades provide the player with additional health.

There are three types of Reroll tokens: upgrade, rare and legendary. Each upgrade elevates an item to a better quality, with the requirement of an upgraded reroll token in order to make it. Enhanced upgrades require a common item, rare upgrades require a special or a legendary item, and legendary upgrades require three legendary items.

The marker for rerolling, unlike markers or tokens that are placed on action areas, stays on the spot until the next Success is being rerolled. This allows you to not waste upgrades.

Blueprints appear as envelopes at the beginning of each Preparation Phase, and can be opened by grabbing them using Interact. When they are opened, they will display a description and icon for the appliance or ingredient. Blueprints can be exchanged for new Appliance or Ingredient in the restaurant's store for a small amount of money.

During an event, blueprints may be transferred between the Staple Pool and the Non-staple pool based on selected Franchise Cards. This changes the kind of blueprints that a restaurant's shop sells to reroll and which are available in the non-droppable Pool.

Growthstones

Weapons and armor, as well as accessories can be upgraded in Throne and Liberty using Growth Stones. These are special stones that increase the level of an item by increasing its stats and attributes. These items can be found by visiting Equipment Enchanting NPCs in the main towns. Contract Coin Merchants will sell these stones for a cost. In addition, players can get these stones by completing daily contracts.

To upgrade gear players must first locate the item and then click the "level up button". The menu will appear that shows the Best item upgrader's current status and what it will be after being leveled up, along with the required amount of Growth Stones to achieve this. The amount of Growth Stones needed to upgrade a piece depends on its rarity. Typically rare (blue) weapons require more than one green Growth Stone to reach their next level, while uncommon armor requires a single blue or green Growth Stone.

After deciding on the item to upgrade the player has to select the number of Growth Stones that they want to purchase and pay the cost. When the requirements have been met, the player can select the upgrade button to apply the Growth Stones to the item. This will increase the item's level by a specific percentage. Depending on the rarity of the item, the upgrade process can take anywhere from seconds to minutes.

The upgrade process is also safe and doesn't impact the longevity of the item. This makes the system an ideal way for players to get a significant advantage in combat without putting a strain on their bank account. Clicking on the "transfer tab", players can also transfer their experience and progress of an upgraded piece of gear onto a new piece of gear.

For new players, it can be difficult to acquire Growth Stones. There are a variety of ways to obtain them. You can sign contracts and purchase them from Contract Coin Merchants, defeat Abyssal Contracts, obtain them from the Equipment Stone Seal Book or get them from reward chests during the Ancient Arena Season. Players can also break down the higher-level Growth Stones into multiple lower-level stones.

Leveling

Leveling is a feature that allows players to increase the stats of their weapons, armor, helms, and trinkets. The Upgrade Station lets you combine an item with upgrade materials, and also pay a cost in Happy Tickets or Happy Stars. The process will consume the upgrade materials and give the item an increased level, which gives the item a boost in that area. This process can be repeated until the highest level for an item upgrader mod has been reached.

Items that have upgraded stats will display a blue icon beside their slot. Upgrade components, unlike enchantments cannot be added to more than one item at a time. Furthermore, each upgrade component will require a specific amount of items to be applied and an appropriate level for the equipment.

The Upgrade Station is divided into two slots. On the left, players can add an item that they wish to upgrade. On the right side, an image of the equipment will look like when it reaches its next level. When players have enough materials by pressing the yellow arrow, it will begin the upgrade process.

A piece of gear can be upgraded a maximum of five times. Each time it is upgraded, the stats of the base item will be increased by an amount of. The highest level for an item is 19.

When an item reaches its maximum capacity that it can no longer have the option of upgrading. When a piece of equipment is upgraded to a certain track (e.g. Upgrades for the Veteran or Explorer track will be discounted.

Upgrade components are a type of equipment that can be inserted into weapons, armor trinkets and gathering tools to provide an additional bonus or effect when the equipment is equipped. They can be bought from vendors, looted, acquired through questing or exchanged between players. Upgrade components can be replaced by new ones, but doing so will destroy the previous upgrade, excluding for glyphs, which can be replaced and removed at any time.

Requirements

Item upgrades give players the ability to boost certain attributes of weapons and armor that they currently have. The requirements to upgrade an item differ based on the kind of item however, generally you'll require Dilithium as well as a few Upgrade Tokens (various options are available).

The upgrade items can be slotted into equipment sets and weapons for added effects or a higher quality item. These upgrades can be obtained from a variety of sources, such as crafting, purchasing at the Trading Post, karma vendors or looting from bosses and raids. Once an upgrade component has been inserted into an object, it cannot be removed or replaced. However, glyphs can be swapped freely.

Upgrades can boost an item's Mark Level or Rarity. Certain upgrade components have additional modifiers that can boost the Best Item Upgrade's stats.

For example, the helm upgrade "Foundation of the Sun" improves base defense, and adds an extra 20% chance to block. The dps "Wildfire", however increases damage from weapons.

Upgrades can be beneficial to some items, but not because they boost stats. They are more valuable to players when they achieve a perfect roll. For instance, a flawlessly rolled 200/6 504 armor set piece is highly sought-after in the melee PvP community and could be worth 20-50x the non-upp'd version.

The game will highlight the requirements once you choose the upgrade component that goes into the item. This includes the type of item (either Armor or Weapon) the tier of the item and the upgrade Token required, and the amount of progress required to complete the upgrade.

The game will place an item in your inventory once you have met the requirements for an upgrade. The progress bar will update to show you how far you are towards completing the upgrade. You can also track the status of an item upgrade by visiting any NPC that upgrades items.
