World of Warcraft Item Upgrades

The upgrade of an item can be used to boost the stats of an item. Based on the type of upgrade, it can boost the rarity of an item or mark Level and increase other stats.

Upgrades to equipment in The War Within requires a certain number of Flightstones and Crests, and each item has an upgrade track. Each upgrade increases the price of the next item by a certain amount.

Item Level

When an item is upgraded, its stats increase in value. The value is the sum of all of its upgraded perks (attack magic attack, attack defense). There are a few theories about how the calculation of an item's level is carried out. Item Luck

The Luck stat of a player stacks up to increase the odds of finding items and the properties that are spawned from loot drops and the intensity of those properties. However, it does not directly affect damage or ability to upgrade items. It gives players the chance to upgrade their equipment earlier in the game. This is particularly beneficial in early game runs since players tend to prioritize defenses and weapon scaling over raw damage gains.

In addition to influencing the discovery of items, Luck also increases the chance of success when upgrading items using the Blacksmith. This is not to confuse with the Blacksmith’s overall chance of upgrading, which increase with each level of the item. It is also possible to be enhanced by using anti-materials such as a Scroll of Strength and a Jewel of Blessing.

Armor, shields, and weapons have a default Luck value of 40. These items can be enhanced by using golden ingots or spined leather (depending on the type of material) to add another 40 luck or to increase the luck of the item to 140.

Additionally there are certain items, such as the Hollow weapon that is infused with hollow, can be equipped to increase the damage of any damage-dealing skill by five percent. These items can be purchased in the shops or made using the right ingredients.

Item Failure

Not all upgrades are successful. Cash shop items can be used to boost the chances of success for an upgrade or to prevent players from losing their items if it does not work.

The success rate of an upgrade can be seen in the Honing UI. The percentage indicates the probability of successful upgrading an item. This can be increased by using Additional Materials or Special materials. The chance of success can only be increased by so much, and the chance that an upgrade will fail can't exceed 100%.

The success of an upgrade is also affected by the luck of the item. All items have an initial success rate of 25% and every item that has Luck increases the chance of success by 5percent.

It is important to note that upgrade items are rendered above the items in the inventory, so enchantment glint and other effects can be obstructed by them.
